結果在會議開了一小時後，諾蘭說是貓女時

她想，糟糕我搞錯了，我本來想說她們不會想要採用已經被蜜雪兒詮釋的如此完美的腳色

蜜雪兒的版本太經典了，但是克里斯就是採用了，他就只想做出自己的東西出來

對於貓女裝扮

“I love the costume, because everything has a purpose, nothing is in place for fantasy’s sake, and that’s the case with everything in Christopher Nolan’s Gotham City.”

        我愛這件服裝，這件衣服上的每一地方都有其用處，
        沒有任何只是為了好看的裝飾，就和克里斯多福諾蘭的Gotham City一樣

對於高壇市

“Gotham City is full of grace. You look at Heath’s performance as the Joker, there was a lot of madness there but there was also a grace and he had a code there. There’s a lot of belief and codes of behavior in Gotham and my character has one, too. A lot of the way she moves and interacts with people is informed by her worldview. Chris has given us all such complex, defined, sophisticated worldviews that it’s just a matter of doing your homework and getting underneath the character’s skin.”

“I really got into the comics after I was cast and I like that when she made her first appearance she meets Bruce Wayne and says ‘Let go of me or I’ll claw your eyes out,’ and he says, ‘Careful, claws in or papa spank,’” Hathaway said. “So I’m glad we’ve come a long way since then. I’m not saying anything against Bob Kane, though.”

對於海蒂拉瑪(傳奇女星)對她的啟發

“I know this sounds odd, but her breathing is extraordinary. She takes these long, deep, languid breaths and exhales slowly. There’s a shot of her in [the 1933 film] ‘Ecstasy’ exhaling a cigarette and I took probably five breaths during her one exhale. So I started working on my breathing a lot.”

        我知道這聽起來很奇怪，不過她的呼吸聲是非常獨特的
        她的呼吸的吸入是長且深，帶有點懶洋洋的感覺，然後非常慢地吐出
        在1933年的電影Ecstasy中有一景是海蒂拉瑪在吐菸，我大概已經呼吸了五次

“What’s come before doesn’t limit or even affect this new version. It doesn’t affect me because each Catwoman, and this is true in the comics as well, she is defined by the context of the Gotham City created around her. Catwoman is so influenced by Gotham and whoever is creating Gotham at the time. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman was informed by Tim Burton’s Gotham and Eartha Kitt was informed by Adam West’s Gotham. You have to live in whatever the reality of the world is and whatever Gotham is.”

Gotham City is a war zone. “Sorry to spoil things, boys, but Bane needs these guys himself,” says sultry Selina Kyle, played here by actress Anne Hathaway, navigating the steps with stiletto heels that, on closer inspection, turn out to have serrated edges capable of leaving nasty claw marks in a fight. She also wears night-vision goggles that, when not in use, flip up and resemble feline ears.

在金陵十三钗的記者會上，Inquirer詢問了克里斯汀貝爾，有關黑暗騎士：黎明昇起中，對合演演員有何感覺。

“I had plenty of scenes with Anne,” Christian began. “And I was there when we did the screen test for her. The thing that I said to Chris [Nolan] that day was that there were many very accomplished actresses who had read for the role. I’m terrible at auditions, so I’m very impressed when somebody really seems to acquire an ownership of a character without having worked on it or prepared for some amount of time.”

“I saw that in Anne,” he added. “When Chris watched the screen test, he agreed that Anne did a wonderful job. In many ways, she has the hardest job. There are a number of people who feel that the Catwoman role has been defined previously. So, I always saw Anne’s role as being the toughest job of any of us. In my case, I’ve stopped referencing outside sources. I now reference Chris’ own world of Batman as a guide to what I will continue doing.”

He raved about Tom Hardy as “a phenomenal actor. I like working with him a great deal. He goes the whole hog. I know that Bane has been seen in movies before. But, in my eyes, Tom is essentially creating Bane for the first time so there’s great freedom for him to be able to do so.”

他讚賞湯姆哈迪是非凡的演員，我和他一起工作了很長一段時間，我很喜歡。

He’s somebody who truly seems to love acting. He’s a good, smart guy. He did a very good job in the movie.”

Screenrush got a chance to catch up with woman-of-the-moment Anne Hathaway, but this time not to talk about her attempt at a Yorkshire accent in Lone Scherfig's One Day but instead to try and extract some much guarded details about Christopher Nolan's final Batman instalment The Dark Knight Rises. Our correspondent in Los Angeles, Emmanuel Itier, sat down with Catwoman to chat about Gotham City, Martial Arts and being Nolan's first female action hero!

Interview | Anne reveales the casting process for Selina

What was "The Dark Knight Rises" casting process like for you? And how would you describe your interpretation of Selina Kyle?

I can’t talk about the interpretation because that is just a hermetically sealed secret. [She says jokingly] If you want to take on Chris Nolan, you’re more than welcome to.

The casting process for "The Dark Knight Rises" was Chris met with a bunch of girls to have a general [reading]. And then he culled the list down three-and-a-half months later to do screen tests. So everyone with XX chromosomes [women] in Hollywood was sitting on pins and needles for three-and-half months.

Then I understood he screen-tested a few of us. He tested on a Thursday, and I think the [2011] Golden Globes were that Sunday. And I didn’t mean to, but wherever I went, I just kept bumping into Chris. "I swear I’m not stalking you. I’m not trying to force your hand. I’m not reading anything into anything." But it was really nice because a bunch of people I had screen-tested with, like Wally [Pfister] the DP [director of photography] and Jordan [Goldberg] the producer — they were all nominated for "Inception." I saw them that night, and they all made a point of coming up to me to tell me how well I did.

So I thought it had gone well, but you never want to get your hopes up too high. And so a few days later, I was back in Brooklyn, my manager called me, and she goes, "Meow." And I was like "Ha ha! Oh no, wait! Really?" And she said, "Yes." And I just celebrated! Celebrated! It was one of the best days of my life.

為何會選上你，你會如何描述你所詮釋的Selina？

我不能說，因為這是一個非常密實的秘密，(她開玩笑地說)如果你願意承擔克里斯多夫諾蘭，那非常歡迎。

黑暗騎士再起的徵選程序是，克里斯和一些女孩會面，做一些大略的面談，然後他會花三個半月挑選然後試鏡，所以好萊塢每個有XX染色體的人，在這三個半月是如坐針氈。

週四他對我們之中幾個做了試鏡，我記得那周日是金球獎，我不是故意的，但我不論到甚麼地方都會碰到克里斯，

"我發誓我沒有跟蹤你，我沒有試著去強迫你的手，我也沒有將任何東西讀入任何東西" (總之就是Anne說他沒有跟蹤諾蘭，沒有想強迫Chris選擇，沒有心靈控制)

但是還好我試鏡時的那些人，像是攝影總監 – Wally Pfister和製作人 – Jordan Goldberg，他們都因全面啟動而被提名；在那晚碰到他們的時候，他們還特地跟我說我做得有多好。

所以我想應該是一切順利，不過我也不想抱著太大的期望。然後幾天過後，我回到布魯克林，我的經紀人打給我說 "喵"，接著我 "哈哈! 不會吧! 等等! 真的嗎!?" 然後經紀人說 "沒錯! 而且我正在慶祝!! 這是我一生中最棒的日子。"

安海瑟薇回應黑暗騎士再起定裝照評價

 

"I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo]," she said. "And I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh.' "

Now, we're not sure about the "meh" quote, but we will admit to using the phrases "cautiously optimistic," "unflattering" and "underwhelming" in our analysis.

Regardless, Hathaway said that no matter the first impressions, there is a lot more happening with that suit.

"What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do," she promised. "And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste."

簡單來說就是如果你不喜歡那個造型，你只看到了1/10那件服裝可做的事；

如果你喜歡，那你品味不錯。

these movies so far and she could potentially steal the show the way Heath
Ledger did last time. She does some cool stuff in the movie like jumping out
of windows and stealing the Batpod. Her back story is that she has a history
of abuse and works as a stripper and is also a pickpocket.
